赵博士主要从事氢能相关催化研究,涉及燃料电池及电解池(电解水)所需催化剂,同时计划进一步将纳米催化剂应用于其他电化学催化。目前累计发表论文50多篇,总引用超过7000次。以第一作者,共同第一作者及共通讯作者发表论文13篇。研究成果具有应用前景,一项美国专利已获授权。担任Journal of Power Source,Green Chemistry,Nano Research等期刊的审稿人。入选国家级“四青”人才计划。
