在气凝胶/水凝胶的前沿领域开展交叉学科研究,主要集中于金属、碳材料、高分子气凝胶/水凝胶的可控制备方法的发展,并探索与促进其在催化、智能材料、传感、储能等方面的应用。目前在Nat. Commun., Sci. Adv., Matter, Adv. Mater., Small等国际知名期刊发表论文30余篇。

担任多种SCI期刊审稿人,包括Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, ACS Nano, Advanced Functional Materials, Small, Journal of Material Chemistry A等。现任SmartMat青年编委。
